Wow, I did not realize just how long it's been since I last posted anything.
Here is what has happened since the last post:
Brenden's last soccer game - Brenden had a HUGE fan base in the crowd at the final soccer game of the season. All the kids got to play the entire game; mostly because the other team only had 2 kids show up. Brenden saved his best performance for this special day, and scored his very first goal on a break-away. He went up the field unchallenged and put the ball in the back of the net.
Brenden's 4th Birthday - A very nice day and a very fun day for a Colorado Rockies Birthday Party. Everybody showed up in their favorite Rockies garb. Mom and Dad were wore out, as were the kids after everything was said and done, but it was worth every moment. The big 4 year old got his new bike, just like he wanted, along with a new bike helmet and some knee and elbow pads....among other great and exciting gifts!
Camden's first (and second) ear infection(s) - Yep, Camden had a fever this past week. It would not break, no matter what we did. We ended up taking him at night to an Emergi-Care, and was found to have an infection in both ears. He is getting better, but 'Papa Tony will be the first to tell you that he doesn't exactly like his medicine!
Brenden's last day of preschool - Well, it wasn't exactly "school" more like 25 four and five year olds terrorizing a small pond full of geese and ducks. When things settled down, all the kids sang a couple of songs to the proud parents in the audience. Afterwards, each kid got to ride a slide, where at the bottom the teacher handed them their "diploma". Good times were had by all, even by Camden who loved watching all the kids!
Pictures are not quite up yet. We are actually waiting to see pictures from Grandma Lou, as she took a lot of pictures at the party since we were all way too busy. We do have pictures of the graduation, as well as some shots of the boys in the bathtub acting like animals. Those will make it up in a while. I'll post a message once those have been uploaded to our Flickr page.

Brenden To Become T-Ball Star
(AP) Littleton, CO - May 1, 2008 - Brenden has signed up for the upcoming 2008 Junior Rockies Little Sluggers 3-4 T-Ball season.
Brenden, who can already hit a thrown pitch, consistently, and who can throw the ball further than most 5 year olds, was ecstatic upon hearing the news.
"I'm going to wear a Rockies cap and throw the ball and hit the ball!"
The near 4 year old has a training regiment that would be the envy of any professional baseball player. He will grab a ball and ask you to throw it to him. He doesn't care as to what happens or where you throw the ball. His biggest concern is concentrating on hitting the ball, and when he doesn't have the bat in his hands, he is working on hard on improving his catching ability. Sometimes he will even crouch down like a real catcher. While polishing his batting skills, he will switch around the the left side for an added challenge, however, he is quickly learning how to smack the ball no matter which side of the plate he decides to bat from.
The T-Ball season schedule will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
