Halloween 2008
Halloween came and went, and Brenden made a pretty good haul this year.
Both boys dressed up: Brenden was a firefighter (again) and Camden was a duck (or chicken depending on your interpretation.)

Camden wasn't too happy at first with the idea of wearing a costume (especially this one. Don't worry though, we apologized to him already. Hopefully he won't need to much therapy later on.)
Camden studied carefully as he watched Brenden go up and knock on doors and get candy. He also loved it when kids came up to our door to trick-or-treat.
Brenden had more fun giving out candy than getting it. We're hoping that continues, but know that it won't last as he gets older.
All in all, it was a good Halloween.

Cabo San Lucas

You may notice all the sand on Brenden's forehead and in his hair.
This picture was taken when we got back into our hotel room at the fabulous Riu Santa Fe in wonderful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The sand is the aftermath from the most memorable moment from our vacation in which we were all on the beach (Marta, Brenden, Matt, Kathy, Joe, and I) watching the waves crash and letting the surf come up to about knee level.
Well, the tide started turning, and well...there was a wave that crashed us, knocked most of us over and the end result is we all had sand everywhere!
The picture was taken after we ran through the beach shower to get the sand off. That's how much sand there was.

It was a very fun and very relaxing trip! Marta already wants to go back.
Click here for more pictures of the vacation. They are mostly shots at the beach, as that is where we spent a majority of time after Brenden figured out that the waves are actually cool and not scary.
